Crafted from the first tender shoots of early spring, this exceptional Taiwanese green tea is harvested before the Qingming festival, when the young leaves are at their most delicate and flavorful. Grown using organic farming practices and carefully hand-picked, the tea reflects the precision and craftsmanship that define Taiwan’s finest teas.
After harvesting, the leaves are gently indoor-wilted to begin developing their natural aromas. They are then placed in nitrogen-enriched vacuum chambers, where they undergo the specialized GABA process that naturally increases gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) while transforming the character of the tea. After several hours, the leaves are removed and panned to halt oxidation, then carefully dried.
