​NYTS welcomes both members and non-members to take advantage of the NYTS Tea Studio - Koreatown.  

Membership is not required, but is a big savings.

 

The tea studio has been designed as a sanctuary where you can take a moment out of your day to destress, enjoy high-quality tea, and meet great people.

Reservations are needed as the Tea Studio will be staffed as needed.

 

How To Make a Reservation Request

Use our Reservation Dashboard to choose the right option for your visit.

Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance

1. Weekly Gatherings

If you’re reserving a spot for one of our regular gatherings, please select 'Weekly Gathering' on the dashboard.
   •    Saturday Afternoon Blind Tasting – Refine your palate through guided tastings.
   •    Gongfu Sunday – Invite friends and family to experience Gongfu Cha.  This is a great day to use up of your Member Guest Passes.

2. Special Events

NYTS regularly hosts unique events and seasonal experiences.
If you’re joining one of these, please select 'Special Event' when reserving your spot.

Examples include:
   •    Spring Water Collection
   •    Tea Potluck
   •    Snug Harbor Scholar’s Garden Gathering​
   •    Chocolate and Gongfu Tasting

   •    and more throughout the year.

3. Tea Studio Table Reservations Request

   •   Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance

   •   Reservation requested are typically answered within the hour.

If you’re planning to visit the Tea Studio for a quiet tea session or to join our community table,

select 'Tea Studio Table Reservation'.

Reservations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your visit.

You’ll be prompted to input your preferred seating area:
- Community Table – Tea is always flowing here. Members enjoy up to 3 hours complimentary; non-members pay $5 per tea. 
- Bar – Members receive their first tea setup complimentary; subsequent brews are 20% off the menu price. Non-members pay the standard price.
- Private Seating – Ideal for an intimate or focused session. Members enjoy the same first complimentary tea and 20% discount on refills.  Non-members pay the standard price.
- Cushioned Floor Seating – A traditional and cozy setup with the same membership benefits as the bar and Private Seating areas.
