These Mini Raw Pu Erh Square bricks were made of tea leaves harvested from tea trees over 100 years old in Bada Shan, Menghai County, Yunnan in the Spring of 2013. The tea is full of intense cha qi and is somewhat bitter and pungent. The mouth-feel is strong and fills and stimulates the mouth long after it has been drunk. There is a slight flowery aroma that will become more obvious with aging.
The Mini Sheng Pu'er Squares are compressed into 4-5g per piece. Each piece of mini squares is individually wrapped in gold paper, so it is very handy to carry around in your pockets for on-the-go tea. Unlike the conventional Pu'er which normally exists in a much bigger sizeyou will not have to break apart big tea cakes or bricks; instead, you can directly brew a mini pu'er.
