Join New York Tea Society for an intimate exploration of four exceptionally rare teas produced by Wild Tea Master Cho, a Taiwanese tea maker whose approach challenges many of the conventions of modern commercial tea cultivation.

Master Cho grew up in Nantou County, Taiwan, surrounded by the traditions of Taiwanese tea. Tea was part of everyday life, and he learned its cultivation and processing naturally from an early age. After university, Cho worked as a tour guide. While introducing visitors to Taiwan, he became increasingly troubled by the difference between the teas being marketed to tourists and the Taiwanese teas he remembered from his childhood. His curiosity eventually took him back into the mountains, where he began visiting tea-growing areas himself. What he discovered changed the direction of his life.
