This white tea is produced from tea trees grown from seeds collected by Wild Tea Master Cho more than 20 years ago. These seeds came from the native ancient Taiwanese Camellia sinensis var. formosensis trees found deep within Taiwan’s forests.  
 
Master Cho's trees grow naturally and unpruned on the wild mountains of Yuchi, Nantou County, thriving in their untouched environment. Harvested just once a year, these trees produce a truly unique and rich flavor profile.
 
Master Cho employs a special technique that harnesses the natural mountain airflow to oxidize the leaves over a full year.  The tea leaves mature slowly, allowing their complex flavors to fully develop and reveal their depth.
 
Born and raised in Nantou County—the birthplace of Taiwanese oolong tea—Master Cho grew up surrounded by tea. From a young age, he learned the art of tea-making naturally, influenced by the traditional teas of his home. After university, while working as a tour guide, he was surprised to find that the teas sold as souvenirs didn’t match the authentic flavors he remembered. This realization led him to explore the mountain tea-growing regions firsthand, where he was disturbed by the heavy use of pesticides over many years. Motivated by this, Master Cho made it his mission to revive and share the true essence of Taiwanese tea—pure, natural, and steeped in tradition.
