This scented milk oolong begins with high-quality, hand-picked Jin Xuan leaves from the elevated gardens of Bei Shan. The master tea blender enhances the cultivar's naturally creamy character—to amplify its signature milkiness.
Jin Xuan Oolong was developed in 1981 by Dr. Zhen Zhe Wu—often called the Father of Taiwan Tea—after more than two decades of research at Taiwan’s Tea Research and Extension Station. The cultivar played a major role in revitalizing Taiwan’s tea market in the 1980s and has since become one of the island’s most important tea strains.
While Nantou County is famous for Jin Xuan grown at lower elevations, the higher altitude gardens of Bei Shan produce leaves of exceptional quality. The thick, healthy foliage naturally carries a light milky fragrance, paired with a creamy, buttery mouthfeel that’s uniquely Jin Xuan.
This tea is semi-oxidized and lightly roasted, creating a balanced profile that’s smooth, aromatic, and deeply satisfying.
